Puting Buhangin is located in Pagbilao, one of the municipalities near Lumina Quezon. Puting Buhangin is the tagalog word for "white sand". Literally, they named the beach after its beautiful white sand that shines the most under the sun. You will not be able to resist it's crystal clear water that calls you to swim and explore what's deep inside of it.

You can go snorkeling and dive into its rich marine environment.

It's not only the beach that made it popular, it is also because it is submerged by a cave called "Kwebang Lampas"

Being a legitimate  Tanaueño , I observed a lot of changes from our town.  Victory Mall is one of the Big Project of our Late Tanauan City Mayor Thony Halili . KAROSA

Every year, Alitagtag municipality celebrates the Filipino tradition of Tapusan. And this tradition increasingly flourishing and becomes more vibrant through the years. The Tapusan is held every last day of May. This activity include flower arrangement at church, procession of floats containing floral arrangements, replicas of beautiful landscapes in the Philippines, images and statue of the Virgin Mary and sagala’s of citizens of Alitagtag. In Alitagtag, there is only one road in town, running east to west. Spectators usually go to the middle of the town to catch a glimpse of all eight floats, one for each village or “buklod”. Everybody in the parade walks slowly as they say the rosary. The band will be playing behind the float after each decade of the rosary. It is a very moving and festive experience. Kakabit na ng salitang Batangueño ang salitang BARAKO. Ang kahulugan nito sa mga taga-Batangas ay matapang pero hindi dahil matatapang o siga ang mga Batagueño kaya naikakabit sila sa turang salita. Ito ay dahil sa isang produktong kilala halos sa buong Pilipinas. Sino ang hindi nakakikilala sa kapeng barako? Lingid sa kaalaman ng marami hindi lamang natutulog na diwa ang kayang gisingin ng kapeng barako sapagkat ito rin ang dahilan kung bakit ang Lipa City sa Batangas ang naging pangalawang munisipalidad na nai-akyat bilang lungsod sa buong Pilipinas. Unang itinanim ang kapeng barako sa Brgy. Pinagtung-ulan, Lipa City noong 1800. Mula noon ay mabilis na umusbong ang industriya ng kapeng barako. Ang Lipa ang naging pinakamayamang munisipalidad sa kitang 4,000,000 sa loob ng isang taon, kaya nga't noong ika-21 ng Oktubre, 1887, sa utos ni Queen Regent Maria Cristina ng Espanya.
